Creative Approaches to Therapy Inc. is excited to offer extended-time, specialty, therapeutic Intensives. These services are free from the time restrictions of insurance billing and facilitated by licensed clinicians to expedite the healing process.

EMDR Intensive

EMDR or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a well-researched and highly effective form of Trauma therapy that helps free most individuals from severe symptoms related to PTSD, complex trauma, phobias, and much more.

Art Therapy Intensive

Art Therapy is a form of expressive therapy that can help individuals process and express trauma that cannot be put into words. Art therapy is useful for individuals of all ages and with different levels of experience making art.

Reiki Intensive

Reiki is a Japanese healing technique that is categorized as a form of energy healing practice. Reiki can be used in conjunction with other therapies in order to reduce stress, relieve pain, improve sleep, and provide emotional support.

What are my scheduling options?

Extended Therapy Intensive

Longer than traditional therapy sessions which are usually 60 minutes. These extended therapy sessions are offered on the weekend for 3 hour blocks of time. Offered for EMDR, Art Therapy, and Reiki. Free consultation included.

Estimated cost of services: 500$ for 2 hours

Includes 2 hours of private, direct, personalized intensive therapy of your choice. All art supplies, personalized snacks, and beverages are included. Location agreed upon by clinician and patient during consultation. 50% deposit is required at booking; non-refundable.

Half Day Intensive

Half-day intensives are facilitated on weekends for a total of 4 hours. Offered for EMDR and Art Therapy. Possible locations from treatment include; our office (Homewood, IL), Virtually, or requested at personal accommodations with clinical discretion. Free Consultation included.

Estimated cost of services: 800$ for half Day (4hrs)

Includes 4 hours of private, direct, personalized intensive therapy of your choice. All art supplies, personalized snacks, and beverages are included. Location agreed upon by clinician and patient during consultation. 50% deposit is required at booking; non-refundable.

Full Day Intensive

Full-day intensives are facilitated on weekends over the course of 8 hours. Offered for both EMDR and Art Therapy.

7 of the hours are considered direct therapeutic processing with a one-hour lunch break. Locations from treatment include; our office (Homewood, IL), Virtually, or requested at personal accommodations with clinical discretion. Lunch can be independent or included and provided. Free consultation included.

Estimated cost of services: 1,500$ for full day (8hrs)

Includes 7 hours of private, direct, personalized intensive therapy of your choice. All art supplies, personalized snacks, and beverages are included. 1 hour lunch break scheduled for midday; provided or private. Location agreed upon by clinician and patient during consultation. 50% deposit is required at booking; non-refundable.

Weekend Intensive

Weekend intensives are facilitated on weekends over the course of 2-3 days for 8 hours per day. Offered for both EMDR and Art Therapy. 7 of the hours are considered direct therapeutic processing with a one-hour lunch break. Locations from treatment include; our office (Homewood, IL), Virtually, or requested at personal accommodations with clinical discretion. Lunch can be independent or included and provided. Free consultation included.

Estimated cost of services: 1,500$ per day (3-5, 8hr Days)

Includes 7 hours of private, direct, personalized intensive therapy of your choice per day. All art supplies, personalized snacks, and beverages are included. 1 hour lunch break scheduled for midday; provided or private. Location agreed upon by clinician and patient during consultation. 50% deposit is required at booking; non-refundable.

Financing Options

We are happy to offer our clients the opportunity to pay for intensive therapy appointments half at the time of booking and half at the time of services. At this time, we accept all major credit cards, cash, money order, zell, Venmo, etc. Unfortunately, major health insurance companies do not cover extended therapy intensives.

Up to 4 payments

We are happy to offer our clients the opportunity to pay for intensive therapy appointments in 4 payment installments. These payments are scheduled and agreed to be paid in full before the day of the services. At this time, we accept all major credit cards, cash, money orders, Zell, Venmo, etc. Unfortunately, major health insurance companies do not cover extended therapy intensives.

We are thrilled to be in the works to soon offer financing options with Lane Health. They can be used to pay for therapeutic intensives in full and then make more comfortable monthly payments over time like a credit card.
